August 31st will see the release of Dan Webster’s fourth studio album entitled Devil Sky, a beautifully produced ten track album. Dan’s 2015 album Tin Man was a Featured Album of the Month on Folk Radio UK. It was a passionate and stirring album that made quite an impression: “Mixing folk, country and even a little rock ‘n’ roll, all delivered with a clear, distinctive voice, some great playing and an immaculate sound, it stopped me in my tracks.”
Following our recent video premiere ‘Playing cards in Late Night Bars’ we have the pleasure in revealing another music video for the third track ‘Bo’ which wears a big smile and has a fun tongue in cheek feel, but is actually about his son ‘Ben’ and a father and son’s journey through childhood. Watch it below:
The track also features guest performances from Stuart Allan on electric guitar and Ben Webster, Evie Rapson and Rich Hardcastle on backing vocals. On the album, Dan is joined by Polly Bolton is on Mandolin, Emily Lawler on fiddle and vocals, Rachel Brown on cello, Mark Waters on bass, Yom Hardy on drums and Joshua Burnell on hammond organ and piano.
DEVIL SKY will be released on the 31st of August.
