In September and October, Jon Boden is heading to Scotland to play some long overdue shows (see dates below). He will be starting off in Milngavie and heading to Stirling, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, New Galloway before finishing the tour in Irvine.
Then in March 2019, Jon will hit the road with The Remnant Strings – three phenomenal string players from the Remnant Kings – Morven Bryce, Lucy Revis and Helen Bell. “Jon Boden & The Remnant Strings” will be performing for a special run of intimate shows.
Also, next month, Jon will be reuniting with the fabulous Sacconi Quartet for a couple of performances of The Juliet Letters (by Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet) on Sep 6 (London) and 7th (Bristol). In his own words “We don’t get to perform it very often so if you’re nearby do come along – it really is an amazing piece of music.”
Here is Jon performing Bee Sting from his latest album Afterglow (reviewed here).
