For those of you that have been with us for the duration, and I know there are a lot of you, you may well recall the wonderful voice of Bill Jones being played on our 24 Hour radio stream many moons ago. More recently we featured Bill (Belinda) in one of you Folk Shows here in which I mentioned that Bill had been busy raising a family and teaching since 2004 but that she had returned to the recording studio.
Her last album, Two Year Winter, was released in 2003, here’s a reminder with one of my personal favourites ‘Diddling Set’.
As of February this year she had eight songs for her new album which she’s intending to record over the summer and put out towards the end of 2018. She’s back co-writing with Anne Hills.
In March, she released a single as part of her ongoing effort to raise funds for ARC (Antenatal Results & Choices) who provided Bill with support during a difficult time. They are the only national charity helping parents and healthcare professionals through antenatal screening and its consequences.
