Described as an Indie Pop Juke Box Musical, The Isle of Love is a theatre production, a bittersweet tale of love, loss, recovery and discovery inspired by the songs of Adam Ross of Randolph’s Leap.
Euan Martin and Dave Smith of the theatre company Right Lines Productions collaborated with Adam on the play which looks at the beauty and restorative qualities of Scottish Hebridean life and also explores why people choose to visit, to remain, to depart and to return.
The tour has a few dates left to run (see below) and the accompanying 21-track CD and digital album has just been released via Bandcamp for a shockingly cheap price. As well as several live tracks it includes great songs such as the beautifully moving Uncharted:
as well as a live version of the equally brilliant I Can’t Dance To This Music Anymore.
Order it here for £5 (less than 25p a track!): https://randolphsleap.bandcamp.com/album/the-isle-of-love
And in case you missed it, we recently reviewed Randolph’s Leap new album Worryingly Okay here.
Randolph’s Leap will also play the Kelburn Garden Party on June 29th in Glasgow.
