“Flowers” is the debut single from London based folk-pop duo Little Water. Singer-songwriters, Becky CJ and Connor Roff developed a strong friendship while singing together in London Contemporary Voices (LCV), one of the UK’s leading modern choirs who have featured on Folk Radio.
They shared the following:
“Flowers” was written during our first co-writing session, before Little Water existed. We met each other while singing in London Contemporary Voices alternative choir and bonded while performing at Secret Garden Festival. It was after finishing ‘Flowers’ that we decided to form the duo and to continue writing and performing together. ‘Flowers’ has a timeless quality to it influenced by the sounds of some of our favourite artists such as Fleetwood Mac and First Aid Kit. It portrays the uprooting of a relationship between two people who have grown apart. We worked closely with producer Lorenzo De Feo to bring the song to life and we are so excited to call ‘Flowers’ our debut single.
The song will be available through all digital music providers on the 8th of June, 2018.
