We have another special track from Eamon O’Leary’s forthcoming Reveal Records album recorded live at a recent New York live session collaboration with Benjamin Lazar Davis and Bridget Kearney (Lake Street Dive).
The studio version of Bywater is available on the new album “All Souls” available on strictly limited Black vinyl/ CD here https://revealrecords.bigcartel.com/
Eamon has been playing shows around Europe recently with album producer Jefferson Hamer (Anais Mitchell) and Glen Hansard (The Frames). Bywater is the second original song to premiere from debut album All Souls due June 2018.
Eamon says …
“A nocturnal voyage through the New Orleans neighborhood of the same name, culminating in a bracing (and treacherous) Mississippi swim. It’s the day of the dead and offerings are placed on a candle-strewn raft that’s then set adrift – the Ganges on the Gulf of Mexico. The ‘forty’ refers, of course, to the number of ounces in that communal, and thrifty, choice of beer bottle”
Film by Christopher McDonald.
