Grammy-nominated acclaimed singer/songwriter Kim Richey has shared a video for “Pin A Rose” (feat. Chuck Prophet) from her latest album Edgeland, out now on Yep Roc Records. “Thanks to the badass women lead by Stacie Huckabee who braved a ripper of a thunderstorm to make this beautiful video for “Pin A Rose.” says Richey, “I was heading in from LA to do an Alfred Hitchcock-type cameo but wasn’t able to land in time. I think they did way better than just fine without me!”
Recorded in Nashville, Edgeland is Richey’s eighth studio album was produced by Brad Jones (Over the Rhine, Hayes Carll, Josh Rouse). A who’s who of Nashville players joined Richey in the studio, including Dan Dugmore (multi-instrumentalist); Jerry Roe (drums); Pat Sansone (multi-instrumentalist); Doug Lancio (multi-instrumentalist); Dan Cohen (multi-instrumentalist); Chris Carmichael (string arranger); and Robyn Hitchcock (guitar).
