Since getting back from Belfast yesterday where, following the BBC Folk Awards, we spent a great night in the company of the likes of Lankum, Ye Vagabonds, Caoimhín Vallely, Ciaran Algar and more, I’ve had tunes flying around my head. This new mix features a wealth of Irish music – some older tracks as well as music from those at the forefront of the scene today.
