Daria Kulesh presents her new single Vasilisa, featuring Jonny Dyer and produced by Jason Emberton, the accompanying music video was made by Elly Lucas and Adam Quelch.
Inspired by the Russian fairy tale of Vasilisa and Baba Yaga, this is the story of a ‘Cinderella’ who has no need of a Fairy Godmother or a glass slipper to help her become a Queen… But at what cost? It’s a timeless fable that can be interpreted in many different ways: is it about the power of women? The price of fame? The loss of innocence? Fate and free will? Old stories are the best, and Daria’s powerful and passionate voice was made for telling them.
The new single will feature on Daria’s third studio album (out in late 2018 – early 2019).
