We have a real treat today from Emma Tricca with a beautifully dreamy cover of Graham Nash’s ‘Sleep Song’ (Also our Song of the Day). She told us “This song was recorded by Ted Young in Echo Canyon West, Hoboken NJ on Sunday evening whilst working on my forthcoming album; taped in the spur of the moment on a beautiful 70’s Martin D-45. Kitchen sink scenario, I suppose. I’ve always wanted to do a version of this song and took advantage of the little time on my hands.”
In case you’re wondering where that lovely photo of Emma was taken, it was taken by Julia Reinhart in Emma’s favourite record store in Brooklyn called Black Gold records.
We’ll be brining you more news of Emma’s new album soon…just to say that it will feature some very special guests.
