Hetty is a Nashville-based folk-rocker from Covington, Georgia. Her debut album “In Search of the Sea” releases July 21 and brings together elements of whimsical introspection, cool folk-rock soundscapes, and fun, upbeat vibes.
Watch her new music video for “Hey, Annaliese” which begins with smooth and sultry vocals atop crunchy guitars and soft-sung, yet affirming lyrics. “It’s for any girl finding her way inward, on the way home.” The piano walk-downs are as endearing as the intent of the song, and the multiple-horns solo breathes life into its affirming nature. The music video features (in Hetty’s words): “a 1940’s train to Nashville (complimentary of Nashville’s Wine on the Rails), a young woman on the run, a playful band of buskers, a re-uniting of old friends, and an upbeat catchy tune with a joyful trumpet solo highlighted by some fine swing dancing.”
