Lucy Rose, in collaboration with Burberry Acoustic, has unveiled a stunning live session video for a brand new track entitled ‘Moirai’. Named after the Greek God of fate, the previously unheard song is taken from Lucy’s forthcoming album ‘Something’s Changing’ which is released on 7th July via Communion Records. Copies of the album pre-ordered from today will come with an instant digital download of ‘Moirai’.

Filmed at the iconic St James’ church in Islington, London, with its beautiful natural acoustics, this live version of ‘Moirai’ showcases Lucy on piano and vocals, backed by a string quartet.
“When I wrote this I was thinking a lot about fate and destiny. Sometimes I feel like I live by ‘oh well, it wasn’t meant to be’ but what happens if it was and it’s just plain unfair that it didn’t? I often think about this when it comes to lost love, ‘the one’ getting away. It happens, wrong time, wrong place and I wanted to write a song about that.” – Lucy Rose
Alongside the new album next week, Lucy Rose is also set to release a short documentary acting as a fly-on-the-wall account of Lucy’s debut tour of Latin America last year. The trip, organised independently by Lucy with the help of her Latin American fans, became a huge inspiration for the record and the film is an intimate account of how it all came together. With release now just days away, Lucy has shared an emotional second trailer for the documentary.
Following the album and documentary release, Lucy will tour the UK in July as part of her Worldwide Cinema Tour where she’ll play new material and screen her documentary in full.
