Likened to a bedroom Ry Cooder by Mojo magazine, Nev Cottee releases Broken Flowers, his third album, this Friday on WonderfulSound. Caught somewhere between the rain-drenched streets of Manchester and the sun-beaten deserts of America. A deeply cinematic, string-soaked album rich in atmosphere and brooding ambience, its origins however, began in India whilst trying to leave rainy-city heartbreak behind.

Cottee’s first band was ‘Proud Mary’, who’s debut album ‘The Same Old Blues’ was released on Noel Gallagher’s own ‘Big Brother’ label, he has also played with Manchester bands ‘Folks’ and ‘The Second Floor’.
