As recently reviewed by Pete Shaw for Folk Radio UK, Alex Neilson, under the regal moniker of Alex Rex, has released his debut album Vermillion via Tin Angel Records. In his review of the album, Shaw described the song Lucy: Lucy could be a Merle Haggard song if he [Merle] was backed by psychedelic cowboys and sang more songs about rose thorns growing in his throat.
Check his new video on which there is no shortage of psychedelic imagery as Neilson heads out onto the streets with his bell.
