Lucas and King are a Brighton-based duo who recently caught our attention following their video submission for Truly Not Yours (also our Song of the Day), a song which features on their forthcoming E.P due out in June.
Bo Lucas’ vocals are exceptional, made all the brighter by Hayleigh King’s sympathetic guitar accompaniment, a skill which extends to her vocal harmonies as well.
The duo exudes a confidence that comes through in their music, whether that be Americana or a Patsy Cline cover, they sound refreshingly original and should be reaching a much wider audience.
Let’s hope their new EP changes all that.
