Charlie Parr’s new 5-track EP ‘I Ain’t Dead Yet‘ is out now on Red House Records as a digital download and limited edition 10″ on black vinyl with cover art by the Duluth-based artist Shawna Gilmore.
Fans are treated to four new originals and Charlie Parr‘s own reworking of the traditional tune “Old Dog Blues.” Recorded, mixed and mastered at Minneapolis’ famed Wild Sound Studio by Steve Kaul (The Brass Kings), the recording features Parr backed by a band of friends: Mikkel Beckman (The Brass Kings) on percussion, Liz Draper (Okee Dokee Brothers, The Ditch Lilies, The Dumpy Jug Bumpers) on stand-up bass and Kyle Allah on banjo and fiddle.
