Steve Ashley has a new album out in the new year. Just two years after ‘This Little Game’ (one of Folk Radio UK’s Best Folk Albums of 2015) Steve returns with ‘Another Day’ – an inspired set of new songs and a much more political collection which Steve considers to be one of his best.
“I’m very pleased with it.” says Steve, “The songs cover a wide variety of topics, many are political songs, but not all of them. Like its predecessor, it’s a stripped back acoustic album, but this is a more dynamic collection, less reflective perhaps than the last one. There’s also a lot more humour on this one.”
