Anaïs Mitchell recently performed Why We Build the Wall from her folk opera ‘Hadestown‘ on A Prairie Home Companion. She was joined by Chris Thile and The First-Call Radio Players — Rich Dworsky, Chris Eldridge, Brittany Haas, Sarah Jarosz, Paul Kowert, and Ted Poor.
Hadestown is now a Broadway show at the New York Theatre workshop and this month saw the release of an EP featuring the original cast which is available to download on Amazon.
