In May this year Megson, consisting of husband-and-wife duo Stu and Debbie Hanna, released Good Times Will Come Again. In his Folk Radio UK review, Peter referred to the songs as “important, often vital subjects…And very few others in any genre of music have the courage to raise them, let alone fill a whole album’s worth. For that alone, they should be applauded, but to do it with such skill, sensitivity and class Megson should be celebrated.” Read the full review here.
Following the album’s release, they embarked on a sell out launch tour and main stage appearances at the countries biggest folk festivals. For those that missed them or just can’t get enough, Megson head out on the road again this Autumn in support of their album. Here’s a reminder of why they’re so popular with audiences up and down the country.
