Our Song of the Day comes from Ross Ainslie on Scottish border pipes, Jarlath Henderson on Uilleann pipes, accompanied by Ali Hutton on guitar. The set begins with the beautiful The Mountain Streams Where The Moorcock Crows and it ends on a fantastic, breath-taking finale that opens on the Irish reel The Old Bush. More power to your elbow quite literally!
This was recorded live at the Tolbooth in Stirling as part of The Visit 2016, a Showcase Scotland Expo that featured eighteen Scottish songwriters, bands and musicians.
