Music lovers have been given the opportunity by Sydney Opera House to enjoy some of their contemporary music program and it’s centrepiece festival Vivid LIVE. One of their latest offerings was Justin Vernon’s Bon Iver supported by The Staves. The performance which took place last month was a special Sydney-only appearance to open Vivid LIVE with CERCLE (French for “Circle”), a unique retrospective concert experience in-the-round with the audience.
Below you can watch three performances: Michicant, suggested as one of the highlights of the performance which included an alto sax solo from bassist Michael Lewis. Heavenly Father, performed a cappella on which they are joined by The Staves and Creature Fear from his 2007 debut album ‘For Emma, Forever Ago’.
