Another new mix that seemed to take on a mind of its own delivering a slow building crescendo of tracks which peak mid-way before slowly chilling down to some beautiful new songs such as the new King Creosote and Michael Johnston track. A transatlantic bromance that’s been going on for nearly a decade now and has finally seen the light of day with a new album The Bound of the Red Deer. We also have Rozi Plain‘s new album Friend of a Friend, released on Lost Map Records featuring a number of remixes and live BBC sessions.
Amongst some favourites that send the tempo skywards is a track from Melbourne-based Kathleen Mary Lee whose EP we’re currently streaming and we’ve a track from Irish folk and roots act Old Hannah who will embarking on their debut UK tour this July (see dates below).
