Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros latest video for No Love Like Yours ,which features on their fourth LP PersonA, is not only the directorial debut of actress Olivia Wilde but it was also filmed entirely on iPhone 6s.
The actress made the pitch to the New Orleans based frontman Alex Ebert and the results are spectacular as it opens to an eerie excerpt from a recording made by Alan Lomax of “Ain’t I Right” by Henry Morrison and the Georgia Sea Island Singers. What follows is Ebert’s own funeral, all of which was filmed in New Orleans. Featuring 19 dancers it was choreographed by Kristin Sudeikis who is also the sister-in-law of Wilde.
