Danny Green of Laish has launched his first ever Indiegogo Campaign in support of his new studio album. He also recently revealed a new video for ‘Song for Everything‘:
In his campaign video Danny explains how the band Laish, who have released two studio albums to date, have gone through inevitable changes such as people in the band moving away. Danny himself, now based in London, used to be Brighton-based where, amongst his many active musical pursuits, he was a regular host on the greatly missed Simple Folk Radio which we used to broadcast once a month here on Folk Radio UK. Just based on the the song above we think the new album is set to be their most promising to date.
Making music without a record label, manager or a financial investor is not so uncommon today, but to make it work, independent artists such as Danny still need public support to get their album to the heights it deserves where it can be appreciated by a wider audience. You can help Danny get there by pledging on his new Indiegogo Campaign, as always, there are some great rewards including a new EP, artwork, exclusives and of course the album!
