We have video premiere from Canadian folk / singer-songwriter Alejandra Ribera with her new lyric video for Satellite, her new single (out 29 Jan) taken from her forthcoming album ‘La Boca’. We were totally hooked on this song from first listen so naturally enough, it’s also our Song of the Day.
Born in Canada to an Argentinian father and a Scottish mother, and currently residing in France, her music is filled with exotic rich colours that promise to take the listener on a journey, one that is uniquely her own. Whilst winning ‘Best New Artist’ at both Vancouver and Edmonton Folk Festivals in 2014 brought Alejandra a growing Canadian audience La Boca is surely set to broaden that audience horizon. Her album get’s it’s UK release on 25th March, prior to which she makes her UK debut on March 8th at Servants Jazz Quarters.
