Our Song of the Day is from Luke Sital-Singh with Letting You Go, a track taken from his new EP ‘The Breakneck Speed of Tomorrow‘.
Whilst the basic unit of information in computing ‘the bit’ carries no weight we all seem to be bombarded and weighed down by the information overload out there today. Luke confesses to loving technology but for his latest EP he felt the urge to apply the breaks, a trend that is growing daily in response to technology – taking time to consider. The title of his EP already hints at where things are going, so there is a nice contrast in how he went about producing the sleeves for the deluxe edition of the EP. He went to the Letterpress Collective, a Bristol based collective bringing slumbering presses back to life to engage with artists, writers and community projects.
