For those of you new to his music Six Organs of Admittance is the musical project of Ben Chasney. Earlier this year he released a new studio album titled Hexadic. The album took it’s name from a system that Ben devised called the Hexadic System which allows for a new approach to playing and composing music. The tools? A simple deck of cards. Whilst the requirements are simple the system is, on the face of it looks quite complex. He has now released a paperback book which takes you through the process step-by-step and this video was recently released showing the system at work -humourously sub-titled: How to Party with Long-dead Occult Philosophers, Math, and your guitar:
