Our Song of the day is a newly recorded version of Alasdair Robert’s Coral & Tar which first appeared on his 2009 Drag City EP ‘The Wyrd Meme‘. For this new version he called on long-time friends Trembling Bells in the form of Alex Neilson (percussion, voice) and Lavinia Blackwall (piano, voice) as well as Neil McDermott on fiddle. It was recorded at Alasdair’s home in Glasgow, Scotland. It’s brightened up my Monday perfectly.
