A couple of years ago we introduced LA based duo We Are The West. Besides falling for their wonderful music it was also their approach to promoting it that caught my attention, as I said: “Their pièce de résistance has to be their concert series which is held in an underground parking garage of an office building in Santa Monica the Saturday night before each full moon.”
Two years on and they’re going from strength to strength as is their Underground Parking Garage Concert Series. But today we have a little treat in the form of a video premiere for Hold On which features on their ‘Regards‘ EP. I’m sure you can hear why I made such a fuss about them, now watch this then go and buy their music. Your life will be all the richer for it…
The video was filmed in Malibu, California, in collaboration with Clifford Cruz, inspired by Stanley Donen’s ‘The Little Prince’ [1974] starring Gene Wilder.
The duo have a new set of wheels which they will putting to good use as they set out into the wide world for a tour across the whole of the US. They play their last LA show on Saturday June 20th before heading off.
