Winter are brothers Matt and Joe Winter whose debut album ‘In The Dark’ was released this month on Wild Sound Recordings, label home to some other FRUK favourites including Maz O’Connor, Stylusboy, Polly Paulusma and more.
After disbanding their last group Matt and Joe moved apart but a shared love for music and song soon drew them together again. As they say in their bio:
they realised they were telling the same stories about feeling left behind and out of time, about where the discarded and forgotten bits of our selves might end up, about the biggest truths.
We invited them to record a session for FRUK and they chose two songs from their album to perform in a lovely spot outdoors. If you fancy seeing them live you can catch them at The Portland Arms, Cambridge on Friday 15 May.
