At the end of last year Helen reviewed fiddle player and singer Kate Young’s album Swimmings of the Head (review here) on which she performs under the moniker of Kate in the Kettle. Helen described the release as impressively mature and sophisticated as it is eclectic and cohesive. She also highlighted the track ‘Paper Rose‘ as one of the album’s highlights, derived from Erik Satie’s ‘Trois Gnossiennes No.1’.
Here she is performing it live with the talented låt-mandola player Marit Fält (VAMM / Marit & Rona)
