We have a lovely hazy folk song premiere today from Welsh born folk singer/songwriter James McArthur, a name some of you may already recognise from a recent review by Helen of the new single from Samantha Whates ‘Trees & Gold / Icicle‘ which was recorded in collaboration with James McArthur & the Head Gardeners.
The Day It Rained Forever features on the long awaited new album ‘Strange Readings From The Weather Station’, listen to it below:
The album was recorded at Tin Room Studios in Hackney, London and Wickham Farm, Welling (once the home and studio of singer Kate Bush) with Head Gardeners Johnny O and Jim Willis, and featuring guest musicians Samantha Whates and Syd Arthurs’ Joel Magill and Raven Bush.
Out June 1st on Moorland Records
