ARK are a new folk music trio featuring Kevin Lees on Fiddle from England, Annmarie Grams on Flute from Germany and Rasmus Nielsen on Piano and Guitar from Denmark. They bring together the folk music from each of their own individual countries to create a new fresh sound using an approach they refer to as simplistic but raw.
Their arrangements consist of both traditional and self-composed material. Have a listen to the two beautiful demos below which alone are enough to warrant keeping a close eye on this trio.
