Steve Gunn and the Black Twig Pickers have unveiled their new video for Trailways Ramble, Matt Peyton’s video collage works perfectly accentuating the slightly trippy trance-like feel of the banjo and fiddle using clever overlays. When the jaw-harp comes in it feels like you’ve time-slipped as you escape the clutch of the city roads heading for the country. Despite it’s seven minute length, it’s one I could let ride for a lot longer, a glorious back-woods concoction of old time music and drone with a warm eastern undertone.
