Earlier last month we announced that the Great Lake Swimmers were back with a new album titled A Forest of Arms.
Having previewed their lead single Zero in the City we have a very special video premiere today of them performing Don’t Leave Me Hanging at Tyendinaga Cavern and Caves in Tyendinaga, Ontario. The acoustics of the caves are amazing, in Tony Dekker’s words, “the environment became another element or sound layer to the recordings, almost like another member of the band.” Watch it below:
A Forest Of Arms was recorded in several locations over the span of several months, covering extensive new territory while remaining true to the group’s refined sound.
