Our Song of the Day comes from Sonny & the Sunsets, the strangely titled Happy Carrot Health Food Store features on the equally quirky sounding new album Talent Night at the Ashram all of which maybe harks back to his days spent living on an organic farm in the Central American jungle, earning money while touring with a rag tag busking band and playing hotels and cabanas along the coast of the Caribbean.
Whatever the inspiration this seven minute track is the centre-piece of the album – it’s a weird trip in itself that leaves a lasting impression. Listen below:
