Ryley Walker has signed to Dead Oceans and has announced the release of his new album ‘Primrose Green’ on March 31st. Every time I hear Walker, who is now based in Chicago, I can hear the influences of Bert Jansch and Davey Graham, even the cover of his new album has the feel of that golden era about it. Having said that, he has also developed a style all of his own, one that has set him apart and helped raise his profile. This new signing is great news.
