Our Song of the Day is a premiere from Findlay Brown with a cover of Money Can’t Buy which was originally released by Brooklyn-based folktronic trio Howard as a single as well as featuring on their recently released debut album, Religion. NPR’s All Songs Considered recently featured Howard on their ‘New Mix’ declaring them as one of their favourite new discoveries so far this year.
Howie Feibusch of Howard met Brown “after a show of his and it turned out we were neighbors when we saw each other walking.” Talking about the cover he said “Brown’s cover boils down ‘Money Can’t Buy’ to its essential components showcasing the song’s more melancholic side.” Listen below:
