Our Song of the Day comes from Cosmo Sheldrake, that man who hoovers up everyday sounds and transforms them into captivating music. It has been almost a year since Cosmo’s latest offering, and ‘Tardigrade Song‘ doesn’t disappoint. Continuing his love of the nonsensical, ‘Tardigrade Song’ see’s Sheldrake imagine himself as one of nature’s toughest species (a tiny water dwelling animal no bigger than a pencil dot) living in the sea. Cosmo’s vibrant vocals soar as the track quickly descends into a maddeningly catchy slice of indietronica, reminiscent of Metronomy or alt-J.
