Over the last three years Seth Avett of the Avett Brothers and Jessica Lea Mayfield have been busy working together on a tribute record to Elliott Smith (August 6, 1969 – October 21, 2003) featuring covers of his songs.
The album which is titled “Seth Avett & Jessica Lea Mayfield Sing Elliott Smith,” was produced by Seth and is set to be released on March 17th on Ramseur Records. Last night they unveiled a behind the scenes video which you can watch below:
