Fans of Jack White were in for a double treat in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena as he re-united with the Raconteurs before bringing Loretta Lynn on stage to a thunderous applause. They performed Portland Oregon which went down a storm after which he joked with fans how he’d rang her up and a deep voice answered “hello”. He answered “this is Jack White looking for Loretta Lynn”, she answered “This is Loretta baby, did you like how I disguised my voice.”
Jack had done his homework as he asked Loretta to perform Whispering Sea, the second song she ever wrote and one she hasn’t performed since 1955. The video below isn’t great but we’ve included the original video of Portland Oregon below as well.
