Our Song of the Day comes via Canadian songwriter Dennis Ellsworth with his new video ‘Hazy Sunshine’ the title track of his latest album.
UK fans of Dennis will be pleased to hear that he hits these shores this month. He will be kicking off his tour at Celtic Connections, with a performance at The Tron Theatre in Glasgow on Tuesday 27th January, before joining John Smith on part of his UK tour.
He also plays The Square Tower in Portsmouth on 30th January with Jigantics and ex-ColvinQuarmby vocalist / fiddle player and multi-instrumentalist Marion Fleetwood in support.
A new album is also due for release early summer 2015, Dennis has reunited with the band from his ‘Dusk Dreams’ album to create a new record ‘Romantic As It Gets’, recorded at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, GA and produced by David Barbe (Drive By Truckers, Sugar).
