We’ve a very special video premiere today from James Frost whose Nameless EP we recently reviewed. The video for the title track is also the first film release by UK Director Ghost Herder. When I viewed it for the first time last week I was stunned. It not only captures the tinder and woodsmoke but the deep mystery and magic of the place, it also has one of most sublime endings I’ve seen in a long time, but I won’t spoil it. Director and song-writer working perfectly together in unison.
“That place, that crazy place with its beautiful old trees, strange old cabins and abandoned campfires …it all exists just as we see it on the video. It’s a setting from another time and was the obvious place to film a video for this track. We wanted to create something that was both an ode to nature and a window into another world. Call it strange but I believe magic exists all around us…we’re just not used to looking for it.” – James Frost
