London Folk Music, a new voluntary enterprise established in 2013 to promote and publicise folk music concerts in London, have announced that a film of Nancy Kerr’s first tour in her own right as a songwriter will be released on their YouTube channel this Christmas Eve, 24th December.
Filmed in November at The Lantern theatre at Bristol’s Colston Hall, the concert includes material from the album ‘Sweet Visitor’ as well as new and unreleased songs. The film, including an interview with Nancy Kerr, will be posted as a YouTube playlist at 00.01hrs on 24th December. Watch the trailer below:

About Nancy Kerr
With five BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards to her name, acclaimed singer and fiddle player Nancy Kerr is well known for her long-running duo with James Fagan and for The Melrose Quartet, as well as other collaborations including The Full English and The Elizabethan Session. Her long-anticipated first ever solo album ‘Sweet Visitor’, featuring all original compositions, was released in July and followed by a concert tour this November.
The Sweet Visitor Band members are James Fagan (Kerr Fagan, James Brothers) on guitars and bouzouki, Rowan Rheingans (Lady Maisery) on banjo, fiddles and triangle, Tom Wright (Albion Band, Eliza Carthy) on drums and guitars, andTim Yates (Blackbeard’s Tea Party, Albion Band) on bass and melodeon.
