Lupita Dream On is the first single taken from Trent Miller’s latest album Burnt Offerings. The young Italian, now a long-term London resident, has honed his fusions of folk, rock, goth and americana in a progress towards a more modern, electric-oriented sound, influenced by such totemic bands as The Gun Club and Thin White Rope as well as early heroes like Gene Clark.
Recorded at Reservoir Studios with Chris Clarke it features guest guitarist, BBC Folk Award double nominee Ben Walker. Also on the specially-priced three-song single are ‘Whispers Of A Fool’ and ‘Bones Of Milk’ taken respectively from earlier albums Welcome To Inferno Valley and Cerberus.
The video was born out of a collaboration between Trent and the acclaimed short-film director Harry Clegg. Watch it below:
