Eddi Reader has just finished her final Vagabond tour capping a very successful 2014, although there are still one-off shows in Kinross, St. Andrews later this month, and at the Great British Folk Festival in Skegness on December 6th.
With her recent Back The Dogs EP also released (a featured EP of the month on FRUK), featuring a number of meaningful cover versions along with the track plucked from Vagabond adding to the mix, those who have seen the tour in articular, will enjoy Eddi’s version of Moon River. But even if you didn’t make the shows, it’s still a knock out version.

Eddi will be taking to the stage for a number of dates in December as part of Phil Cunningham’s Christmas Songbook shows, along with Phil, naturally enough, and Karen Matheson, John McCusker, Kris Drever, Ian Carr and the Brass Boys.
Eddi will then tour Ireland in February 2015 and be back on the mainland for a series of intimate shows through March. All date are below.
