Our Song of the Day comes from Dublin based alt-folk quartet The Young Folk who have revealed their new video for Way Down South from their new album The Little Battle (a FRUK Album of the Month).
The song is a nostalgic look back at young love and simpler times, which builds up with so much emotional force it carries a real punch without watching the video. But the with the video which was directed and co-produced by Alexina Davidson & Carla Mooney it’s a complete knockout. The scenery is breathtaking and the close-up shots really add to the sentiment and feel of the song, it’s one you’ll come back to time and again. Stunning and beautifully done.
