Our Song of the Day is from Iowa singer-songwriter Max Jury. Black Metal is a song about a young woman with a penchant for that sub-musical-genre which she listens to ‘all day long’. Despite the subject matter Bob Dylan fans may well be reminded of ‘Knockin’ on Heavens Door’ which forms the unusually upbeat backbone of the song with a dabble in Laurel Canyon. It’s hard to resist singing along, check the video for it below:
