Our Song of the Day comes from a great favourite band of ours – Hot feet who hail from Stroud. Three Black Crosses features on their forthcoming EP ‘Mist is Dust’ which is released on 25th October.
Their music unfolds out into multiple unexpected angles, you never quite know where it will end or where it will take you next…brooding electric blues lines, bursting psychedelic instrumental interludes, Marianne Parrish’s gorgeous vocals and harmonies that make the hairs on your neck stand on end.
It’s tantalising music…it’s like someone took Pentangle circa ’68 and exposed them to all mind expanding musical influences that have gone on in-between. Beautifully progressive and original but with a nod to some of the greats. They are one of the best bands out there today.
This EP should give them the launch pad to start getting greater exposure, and they so deserve it!
