Our Song of the Day is from Bristol based artist Ivan Moult. Lazy Day is the lead single taken from his forthcoming debut LP ‘Second Guessing’ which is launched on 9th September 2014 through Bubblewrap Collective. To celebrate the track is being offered as a free download.
Whilst Lazy Day has the unmistakable influence of Paul Simon, Moult’s broadened influences can be heard on his album from the 1970’s self-reflective work of Nick Drake & John Martyn to the lovelorn tragedy of troubadours such as Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley.
Second Guessing is released via Bubblewrap Collective which is also home to FRUK favourites The Gentle Good and Little Arrow.
